Here, at Vandalia Nazarene, we are committed to a loving environment that promotes growth for our students. The name of our youth group is “Underground”. Underground is a group of students who are committed to learning about God and incorporating that in their lives. Our students are 7th-12th grade. The students at Vandalia Nazarene meet on Sunday mornings, nights and Wednesday Nights.
Sunday morning is a small group discussion that begins at 9:30 in the morning. This discussion can cover so many different things that are going on in the life of the students. We try to keep it relevant, but also want to see those Biblical stories incorporated into their lives.
Sunday nights are our “focus” nights. This is our main service, and there is a reason we call these our focus nights. We begin with worship, followed by a message, and then followed by some fellowship. This night is for our teens to focus on God, through worship and the message, but then to focus on each other by hanging out and building relationships. Every week at 6pm unless notified otherwise.
